With the beta release of Windows 8 now available I thought I'd try this to see if newer drivers and operating system might solve the problem at hand (which I installed on the 22nd June.)
First of all before I format the system, it's worth checking how the system had done previously (using Windows Reliability Monitor application.
Again this tool shows lots of crashes all related to the Gfx issue at hand:
So yeah something's definitely wrong and the earlier steps hadn't resolved this!
