[Troubleshoot] Ray Sum's Graphics card crashing (Part 10)

OK so that now I've tested to an extent that the GFX card crashes cannot be resolved in Windows 7, I downloaded a 'beta' copy of Windows 8 and ISO-burnt this to a DVD to test on this system (1 in the hope of solving the problem, and 2 to have a play with the new system.)

1st of all the disc has an 'autorun' feature enabled in windows but as I wanted to start with a clean slate (aka a newly formatted empty drive) I rebooted the system and used its bootup option.

I'm a little surprised that Microsoft is still making it slightly harder for people to test their beta products (surely this field should be pre-filled in or non-existent!)

The 1st sign that Windows 8 is designed for more for touch enabled devices.  (Remind anyone of a mobile phone on screen keyboard anyone?)

Windows' version of Partition tools...
I deleted every existing drive/partition in order to ensure that we do start from scratch and that any viruses etc on the system are taken care of (Just in case.)

We finally get past the initial setup and the disc begins to install the Operating system (Time is 11.29pm.)
At 11.39pm, the system reboots and we see a slightly more familiar Microsoft Windows splash loading screen.

Another 8 minutes of setup options and system file configurations (such as creating user name folders and paths etc) and at 11.47pm we see the home screen that is Windows 8.

Clicking on the home screen shows a more familiar desktop screen

BUT very soon we see the familiar graphics card crash screen!

Bugger changing from Windows 7 to Windows 8 which might use a different Kernel and drivers didn't solve the problem.  That's it the graphics card in my head is 'Fucked!'
